HDTV: Why is it when I tune to HD channels the picture does not match the screen on my widescreen LCD TV?
Television can handle 4:3 6:09 ET formats.My concern I've heard of uneven aging of the Lcd Screen if still image or in the shade, as the black border on both sides when tuning channels.Do HD I need to zoom manually?
Your question a bit confusing. With HDTV, the black side bars must exist on the non-HD content. HD content should fill the screen. (Of course, all content broadcast on HD channels in HD content. That is another question.) If your non-HD content is to fill the screen, then your game has been set to a zoom mode, this mode HD content exceeds the size of the screen and not be fully visible. You should be able to select a zoom mode that allows HD content to fill the screen, and the non-HD content to show sidebars. The side bars should not damage your screen in any way.
